I don’t follow the shot. I create it.

Jason Ellis is a director with three documentaries under his belt — and the photographer the fitness world calls the King of Covers.

His latest film, Aging Evolution, is streaming now on Amazon. It stars Mark Cuban, with Lou Ferrigno, Brooke Burke, and Phil Collen — a masterclass in strength, fitness, and longevity, directed by Ellis.

Two more documentaries sit beside it: Growing Young, and My House with 4× Mr. Olympia Jay Cutler. From the newsstand to the screen, the work is the same. Vision. Obsession. The relentless pursuit of a frame that lands.

Before the documentaries, the covers. More than 500 of them — Muscle & Fitness, Oxygen, Men’s Fitness, Men’s Health, Muscular Development, Iron Man, Maxim. The WBFF named him Photographer of the Year in 2015 and 2016. The OC Fit Expo, with Bodybuilding.com, named him Photographer of the Decade.

He doesn’t just create images. He creates impact. Follow the daily work at @jasonellisphoto.
